A Feb. 6 Science Daily story covered the creation of a prototype rover robot that might one day help explore other planets. The robot was created with help from Caltech roboticist Joel Burdick and JPL's Issa Nesnas. Stories also appeared on the UPI wire, MSNBC.com, the London Register and many others.

A series of Caltech-led studies in a recent issue of the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS) was covered by Medical News Today. The story cited Caltech authors Eric Davidson, Ellen Rothenberg, Marianne Bronner-Fraser, and Paul Sternberg.

On Feb. 4, the Discovery Channel interviewed mechanical engineer Guruswami Ravichandran for the series, "Science of the Movies."
On Feb. 3, KPAS-TV Channel 56 toured the new Cahill Center for Astronomy and Astrophysics for an upcoming segment on the building's opening. On Feb. 2, the Los Angeles Business Journal ran a short story and photograph of the new building.
