A May 1 Hawaii Tribune-Herald story covered the decommissioning announcement for the Caltech Submillimeter Observatory (CSO). Making the announcement were astrophysicists Tom Phillips and Tom Soifer. The Associated Press, KITV-TV, KGMB-TV and several other outlets covered the decision.
